“come here to me
come lay down your nightmares
your woes and your fears at my  feet”

Audra Mae  from her song  “Come Here to Me”

when we were so young
we believed dandelions
blown into the wind
made our wishes come true

everything was possible
nothing would dare get in our way
life would be carefree
and love would last forever

Ϡ

if  only wishing
was all we had to do
to keep nightmares at bay
and loneliness out of  our beds

but dreams were given up on
we could never fly like butterflies
surviving was the best we could do
and hearts could be broken

Ϡ

oh,  how i long for
dandelions
to turn into wishes
when they die

  1. Yes, it would be wonderful if dandelions turned into wishes when they died…..only GOOD wishes would come true though. Smiles.

  2. first, i love dandelions…they are like my fav flower of all time…i know dont tell me they are a weed…smiles….and life was simpler once and we lived on dreams and wishes…it would be nice if it could stay the same…smiles.

i'd love to hear from you ♥ thanks! {comments must be approved before they are visible}
