we’re like two flowers on a single vine
growing closer each day until we touch
there’s no question ~ our love was meant to be
whatever our future, we know this much
we’ll be together…  i’m yours…  you are mine

·ɤ·

we have a connection through which love flows
bringing us warmth and utter contentment
we bask in a love we couldn’t foresee
but we know it wasn’t an accident
unexpected but destined…  our souls chose

·ɤ·

we can’t stay away from one another
our love and lust are burning in our eyes
igniting a passion that sets us free
desire so strong we don’t need binding ties
it feels so right when we’re with each other

·ɤ·

we’re like two flowers on a single vine
growing closer each day until we touch
there’s no question ~ our love was meant to be
whatever our future, we know this much
we’ll be together…  i’m yours…  you are mine

Envelope Quintet

this is a modified envelope quintet. the envelope quintet is a natural progression of a four line poem to 5 lines. there are several ways this can be achieved… one can use a rhyming scheme of  a/b/b/b/a  or  a/b/c/b/a… the c line can be retained throughout the poem as a repeat rhyme or a repeat line. there is no set meter, but iambic pentameter or a ten syllable line is suggested…..Read More  .   i used ten syllables per line and chose to have four-5 line stanzas with the first and fourth stanzas being identical and the second and third using a repeat rhyme of  line c.
