“Epitaph”   King Crimson

i  know  i  recently  reblogged another of  Ainsley’s poems,  but as excellent as his writing has always been,  he has taken it to a new level this year.  the fact that “Deserted Dreams”  was inspired by two words from one of  my poems honors me.  i  hope you will follow the  “READ MORE”  links on both of  the above poems because they are truly extraordinary poetry.  you can find Ainsley’s writing at any of  the Dolphin links in the blogrolls at the bottom of  this page,  but his main blogs are  ‘Dolphin Muse‘  ‘Dolphin Ainsley‘  and  both poetry and photographs at  ‘Dolphin Visions‘ ~  you will give yourself  a gift if  you start subscribing to these blogs in a reader or via email.

thank you,  Ainsley,  for allowing me to share your writing.

  1. I thank you dani ♥ for honouring me with this post.
    The fact that you complimented my poems with “Persistence of Memory” and the track from King Crimson, “Epitaph”, only makes me wish that I had chosen them in the first place.
    Again ~ thank you for this honour dani ♥ it gives me a really warm glow.

    • so happy you approve of the image and music. when reading “Deserted Dreams”, i immediately thought of Dali’s painting “The Persistence of Memory” though i didn’t remember the title which also seems fitting for your poem, don’t you think? your poetry is, as i said in the post, always amazing but you’ve reached an entirely new level this year ~ truly brilliant! i am honored to present your poems here, Ainsley. ♥

talk to me, baby ♥ ♥ ♥ {comments must be approved before they are visible}
