i am pleased to be featuring some of the most creative, talented, brilliant {really!} poets of our time. i have been fortunate over the past two and a half years to meet this amazing group of people through twitter and their blogs. not only are they writers who excite and enchant and entrance their readers, they are, one and all, nice people who are supportive of everyone in our online poetry community. the “age of technology” has, in fact, facilitated the spread of the ARTS! ~ poetry, photography, art, prose, music… i have friends i have yet to meet face-to-face from all around the world. day or night, you can visit their blogs and be transported to another time or place or frame of mind with just a few clicks of a mouse. i find it thrilling! and i believe you will find it equally thrilling to discover their words.

Galen, the G-Man, writes primarily humor on his blog, MrKnowItAll. G also hosts the Flash Fiction 55 Friday. his interests include motorcycles, football, coffee, humor and women. i haven’t confirmed this, but i think he may once have been a hippie, or at least a flower child. he’s definitely one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Galen claims not to be a poet but i disagree, and i think you will too. in his own words ~
“As long as I’m reading the obituarys instead of starring in them, it’s OK.”

g-man, galen, pops….he is the stuff….ha…he is an amazing person…there was a time i was going to walk away from blogging and he wrote me a letter/email that changed my mind…and of course he is the king od 55s as well..
i’m so happy Galen sent you that email, Brian! i can’t imagine not having your poetry to read!
G-Man may best be known for hosting Friday Flash Fiction 55 each week, but he doesn’t get enough recognition for his own creative pieces. Nice to see him finally getting some props!
