we  sing  good  morning

to  the  Earth,  Sun  and  Sky

a  sweet  blessing  upon  all

¤

we dance in circles

keeping in step with the breeze

our  voices  raised  full  of   joy!

¤

with  arms  open  wide

we  beckon  all  to  join  us

in  welcoming  the  day

  1. This is really lovely, Dani!

  2. You’re making me feel like a flower child! I LOVE both of those songs!!! I used to sing Good Morning Starshine to my daughter when she woke up (she’s a teen now and snarles at me when I dare try!) Wonderful poem to accompany the artwork and songs! (Where is my HAIR soundtrack?)

    • i was a flower child! {smile} i saw the Broadway touring company of “Hair.” “Good Morning Starshine” is still one of my favorite songs. your daughter may not want you to sing to her now, but i bet she will always remember when you did. ♥ thanks for stopping by, Sheri.

  3. I love what you wrote and I love this song, “Good Morning Starshine”
My daughter said this all the time after watching the new Willie Wonka…oh, my~
Yes, we need to dance n’ embrace each day! Beautiful Dani :D

    • i haven’t brought myself to watch the Johnny Depp version of Willie Wonka. can’t be all bad if it includes “Good Morning Starshine.” {smile} thanks for your sweet comment, Ella! ♥
