i am walking through time
·ς·
travelling alone ~
i’m naked to the world
{ if anyone could see me }
creating my own field of gravity
footprints rising from ~not sinking into~ the sand
·ς·
i’m moving as fast as light through normal space
barely there long enough to take a few steps
then disappearing into the cold dark void
in the time it would take for one breath
{ if only there was air to breathe }
·ς·
you left with no warning
i didn’t even get to say goodbye
am i supposed to understand any of this?
what made you decide to leave so suddenly?
what happened to your vow to love me forever?
·ς·
i am walking ~ running ~ through time
trying hard to catch up with you
the only sign of my passing
footprints on the sand
…..soon blown away

You have a natural ability to draw your reader right into the experience you are sharing – such an authentic poetic voice. This is a very powerful exploration of loss of love, and its aftermath.
you are really too kind, Kerry! ♥ thank you so much.
