her name was faeirii.
only there were little hearts ♥ instead of dots above the i’s. that said it all. she lived in an on-line “graphic novel” aka comic. she was little more than a cliché but what else could she expect? she was drawn by a MIDDLE-AGED WHITE MAN. what did HE know about teenage girls? {she refused to think about any perversions HE might have. HE creeped her out enough, she didn’t want to probe any deeper into HIS sick psyche.} HE couldn’t be bothered to draw her in detail… she was barely a scribble. she guessed HE thought it was ”cool.” she thought HE was just lazy. HE should try flying around with one eye closed all the time or holding onto a cup of coffee without fingers. let alone getting a boy to kiss her when all she had was a line for lips. {and where were her boobs, for God’s sake?} maybe it would be okay if she were a superhero or at least had a magic wand, but noooooo…. all she ever got to do was flit around giggling and petting glittery unicorns. did HE actually think this was writing? or even drawing? oh, yeah… don’t forget HIS degree from that school on the matchbook cover. was it any wonder she was depressed? …suicidal even? her future really only offered two options ~ HE would get bored and stop drawing her… or, the more frightening prospect, HE would keep drawing her like this the rest of HIS life! maybe she could impale herself on a unicorn’s horn…..

this was really cool dani.. food for thoughts beyond the comic world in this… his thoughtlessness and her suffering… very nicely played
thank you, claudia! ♥ i loved your prompt!
It’s a metaphor we earthlings should take seriously: doesn’t matter what you are like, all you need is to get yourself into a good comic! Fine write.
thank you. David! you’re very kind.
ha. fabulous dani…unique and original…a character stuck in a BAD comic, poorly drawn has feelings too…smiles….you made me feel bad for her…but also smiled at the thought of her…hopefully the future surprises her with something good…
you always have hope, brian! {smile}
