featured poet of the day ~ JTW {J.T. Whitaker}

James Whitaker  aka JTW is a writer, poet, lyricist, photographer and jewelry maker. he is also a generous and kind man ~ i know this because when i reblogged one of  his poems, he sent me an email thanking me. he’s the only person who’s ever done that. i actually first discovered JTW on twitter  { @jtwhitaker } where he says this about himself  “i ♥ music, scotch & lowercase.” {i love lowercase, too ~ i can type faster.} he enjoys twitter {or so i’ve heard} and is the 140-character promoter for . Indie Ink  { @indieink }   i haven’t had time yet to really learn about Indie Ink, but i have a tab up for their site so that i won’t forget ~  here’s their description of  who they are ~ “A non-profit, independent literary and art collective. Perhaps more importantly, we are a community of writers and artists whose work is filled with such passion and spirit, it demands to be seen.”  that certainly describes JTW’s writing. there is an honesty to it that touches me deeply and he uses words in a way that i can only dream of  doing. his blog .  JTW  . and . JTW on tumblr  . are full of  prose, poetry, photographs, music ~ sharing his life journey and asking questions that we all want to know the answers to.  here….see for yourself  ~
